Our Story

 Our Quilt Quild in Fairhope, Alabama was formed in 2007 with 3 members, Carol Thompson, Carolyn Mitchell and LaVon Owens.  Today we have 45 members and growing. 

We are a Gulf States Quilt Association affiliated guild.

Our Mission

The purpose of our quilt guild in Fairhope, Alabama is to promote the appreciation of quilts and the art of quilting, to share knowledge about quilts and quilting and to perform community service projects, Quilts of Valor program, Pillowcases and quilts for North Baldwin Foster Association ,Bears for Veterans and Meals on Wheels Placemats.

While doing so, we engage in a variety of activities at our monthly meetings including educational programs and demonstrations, charity sews, block exchanges, raffles, show and tell and workshops.

October 14

 Color in Quilts with National teacher, Nancy Hinds.  Holiday Inn Express - 10:00 - 2:00pm


November 11- meeting at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (gather 9:30am, meeting 10:00am. This is Veterans Day and the Nix Center is closed.


 December 9 - Christmas Luncheon at Beckwith at 11:00am.  (Signup and pay at November meeting. Cost will be @ $15. )


Starting January 2020 meetings will be held at Fairhope Methodist Church.
